I'm seeing different output for $ git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/xtensor-stack/xtl.git
...
$ cd xtl
$ git log --oneline
f3ca44e (grafted, HEAD -> master, tag: 0.8.1, origin/master, origin/HEAD) Release 0.8.1
$ git fetch --deepen 1
...
$ git log --oneline
f3ca44e (grafted, HEAD -> master, tag: 0.8.1, origin/master, origin/HEAD) Release 0.8.1

$whereas using $ some_path/git2cpp clone --depth 1 https://github.com/xtensor-stack/xtl.git
...
$ cd xtl
$ git log --oneline

$ some_path/git2cpp fetch --deepen 1
